A downloadable game for Linux

Practice your orienteering skills with this simple but hopefully realistic simulator, based on automatically-generated maps (thanks to Lantmäteriet, Karttapullautin and OpenMapper).

This release includes 7 terrains, inspired by real-world data from national parks, nature reserves and other difficult-to-access areas in Sweden.

70+ courses (Black difficulty level).

Terrain and map data

Height and vegetation data from Lantmäteriet (Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority). Automated maps generated with Karttapullautin. Details like lakes, marshes, boulders, depressions are imagined and added with OpenMapper. Green/dense forest has not been implemented (yet), nor have any man-made features (probably never will). Courses set with OpenMapper. Simulator implemented using Unreal Engine 5.6.1 (Epic Games Inc.).
